Jay Z Extends Pat on the Back to J. Cole

Submitted by admin on Thu, 2011-10-06 19:05.

Jay Z swooped in and snatched up J. Cole for Roc Nation the way a hawk dives in for a mouse and snatches it up with its claws before tossing it into the nest to be devoured later on. J. Cole was the first artist to get a record deal from Jay and he was left there in the nest-studio to prove why he was chosen. Fast forward 2 years and we see that Jay Z's decision-making acumen honed through years in the drug and record business has produced another winner. Hov released a printed statement congratulating J. Cole on reaching number one on the charts and complimented his body of work. Nice job Cole! You can catch both of these artists on tour on J. Cole tour dates and with Jay Z tickets when The Throne tour begins later this month.

Only but a matter of time before I hit you with a nice shot

Jay Z's Secret Lovechild!?!

Submitted by admin on Thu, 2011-09-15 15:30.

Unlike Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jay Z had the good sense not to fool around behind his old lady's back. Then again, Maria Shriver isn't Beyonce. Allegations have recently surfaced that Jay did impregnate Trinidadian model Shenelle Scott nine years ago, before he hooked up with Beyonce. Now, with the news that he's about to become a father, that inconvenient fact has surfaced again and the rumor mill is churning up all the dirt it can find. Jay reportedly paid the model $1 million to keep her mouth shut about the child whose name is Malik Sayeed. Beyonce was allegedly furious over the situation which she knew about previously but decided to stick with Jay.

Jay Z and Kanye West Are The Throne

Jay Z tickets are on the menu once again!!! After working for eight months with Kanye West on Watch the Throne, the two have joined forces for a North American tour as The Throne. Their performance at the MTV VMA Awards was absolutely bananas. The two appeared larger than life as they walked through walls of flame down the long corridor of the stage shouting verses. Together they've crafted a unique hip hop album that pushes the boundaries of traditional beat-making and created a whole new sound that has all the epic flash you'd expect but also exposes a vulnerable, pensive side that brings a complexity to the recording.

Watch the Throne

Since 2010 Jay-Z and Kanye West have been collaborating on an album known as Follow the Throne. Def Jam Records is said to be releasing the collab some time in 2011 but little else is known about the production. So far we have one track from the album released as part of Ye's GOOD Fridays. The Lex Luger-produced H.A.M. is pretty epic with a dirty south stutter beat, massive strings and opera singers, not to mention Kanye and Jay spitting faster than we've seen them spit in a long time. Jay-Z was quoted saying, "Ye is just in an extraordinary creative place -- so much so that I need to get him to focus so we can finish this." The two were recently spotted walking into a hotel room in Paris and Swiss Beatz was brought in to lay down production on some tracks. Swiss Beatz said, "In this last month or so, it's really shaping up into a masterpiece." Check out the first track right here:

The Jay Z Blueprint 3 Tour continues in 2010 with dates acres the US. Fans of Jigga man have been waiting patiently for the chance to buy Jay Z tickets, and now that he has announced some dates they are probably going to be going fast. As raps largest and most prominent star, Jay Z commands ticket sales like few artists can. From his start in the rap industry with Reasonable Doubt, and album he produced and paid for himself, Jay Z has grown to a multi-platform mogul with interests in not only the music industry, but clothing, professional sports, liquor and more. But at heart Jay Z is a performer, and one of the best at that. Jay Z tickets have been huge since day one and with his popularity at an all time high, plus the notorious lack of any big name hip hop concerts, makes the Blueprint 3 Tour perhaps the biggest tour of the year. It is still pretty early to claim the top spot for 2010, but chances are that the Jay Z tour wont be surpassed.

The 2010 Jay Z Blueprint 3 Tour starts on February 22, 2010 in Houston, TX and continues with coast to coast stops all over the country. The Blueprint 3 tour also features Young Jeezy as the opening act. As one of the largest up-and-coming rap stars, Young Jeezy will probably be responsible for a fraction of the ticket sales by himself. The Jay Z Tour is going to be something else, and you definitely want to be there. Get as any Jay Z tickets as you can because once the concert rolls around they are going to be huge.
